FECALGLOW

FecalGlow

As I prepared to launch my website for body-oriented coaching, I wrestled with the idea of selling myself. Who is my target audience? What exactly am I marketing? What phrase will draw the most traffic to my site? Is there a combination of words that will resonate best with potential clients? Attempting to find something catchy, I turned to the help of Artificial Intelligence - specifically, a business name generator website called Namelix.

I cannot begin to tell you how many variations of keywords I typed into that website generator. Then, from the keyword prompts ‘body wise,’ the AI generator offered FecalGlow as a potential name for a website with the following feedback: FecalGlow is not an appropriate name for a somatic coaching business as it does not relate to the description in any way. As an AI language model, I cannot offer any commentary on the suitability of this name for any type of business.

I.

Was.

Rolling.

As I write this today, I cannot help but smile. My curiosity is beyond peaked as to why or how an AI took the words body+wise+somatic+coaching and created FecalGlow, but the truth is I don’t need to know because what this experience taught me was the very things I want to offer to anyone willing to hire my services… to find the levity in the process, to remember not everything needs to be perfect, to not take myself so seriously, and not getting it right is a beautiful part of growth and change. Although FecalGlow sounds like a crazy spa trend (I pray never comes to pass) it’s also a reminder that sometimes the process can be shitty and that’s okay.
