Sound-based experiences and reflective listening for grief, transition, and the moments in between
Structured, non-clinical support for individuals, families, and organizations seeking presence without pressure
For Individuals & families
When words feel insufficient, sound and listening can hold what language cannot.
Transformative Tides offers private and group experiences designed for rest, reflection, and quiet accompaniment—without the pressure to explain, fix, or perform.

How this work is held
All sessions at Transformative Tides are shaped by relational attunement—responding in real time to what is happening in a person or room, rather than following a script or fixed curriculum.
Whether through sound, conversation, or language, the focus remains on accompaniment, not intervention. You are always the authority on your own experience. My role is to hold the environment so you don't have to.
Meet Erika
I'm Erika Hood, founder of Transformative Tides. This practice grew from an inquiry into how experience moves through our bodies, our relationships, and our time—beyond what words can hold.
My work blends body-oriented coaching, grief literacy, sound facilitation, and relational inquiry to create environments for presence and accompaniment.
I work with individuals and organizations who value depth, gentleness, and integrity—offering structured containers where you can arrive without needing to perform, explain, or fix anything.
BEGIN QUIETLY
Grief and transition don't always want to be "talked about" right away.
If you're not ready for a session, you're welcome to explore reflections on sound, presence, and grief at your own pace.
