Workplace & Community Sound BATH Sessions
Facilitated sound experiences for teams, organizations, and community groups
In-person offerings in the Greater Saint Louis Area
I offer professionally facilitated sound bath sessions for workplace and community settings.
Sessions create a brief, structured pause where participants may rest, listen, or step away from performance pressure for a short time.
The work is invitation-based and consent-centered — participants choose how they engage.
What Happens during a session?
Live instruments, including crystal singing bowls, chimes, and low-frequency resonance tones, create a steady listening environment.
Participants may sit, rest, or simply listen. No discussion, preparation, or special attire is required.
Sessions are time-bound and professionally contained.
Professional and general liability coverage: $2M per occurrence / $3M aggregate

Facilitation
I'm Erika Hood, founder of Transformative Tides. I hold certifications as a sound bath facilitator. Everything I've trained in comes with me into every session — body-oriented coaching, improvisation, and trauma-informed practice all shape how I read and respond to a room. I personally lead every session I offer — no subcontractors, no rotating facilitators.
NEXT STEPS
If you're thinking about bringing a sound bath to your team or organization, the first step is a brief inquiry outlining your timeline, group size, and setting.
I personally review each request to make sure it's a good fit.
Response time is typically 1–2 business days
Frequently Asked Questions
-
A. No. This works best when it's entirely self-select — nobody's assumed to want it or need it, and nobody's expected to sit through it if it's not for them.
Anyone can step outside, work through it, or simply not attend, no explanation needed.
-
A. Something simple works well: "We're offering an optional sound bath on [date] — a short, live listening experience with crystal singing bowls. No experience needed, come as you are, and feel free to step out at any time."
-
A. Workplace sound baths can be offered in a quiet conference room or another workspace with enough privacy that the session won't be interrupted — furniture can stay where it is. People can sit or rest on the floor, whichever suits your space.
Outdoor and non-standard settings are often possible too. Mention your space and group size in your inquiry and we'll figure out what fits.
-
A. Not currently — all sessions are in-person, on-site.
-
A. Sound-based experiences may produce physical, emotional, or sensory responses. Anyone with health concerns related to sound or vibration — including sound sensitivity, epilepsy, metal implants, a pacemaker, or pregnancy — is welcome to check with their physician beforehand.
Attendance stays fully optional either way, and anyone can step back or leave at any time.
-
A. Definitely worth talking through — mention it in your inquiry and we can figure out what that might look like for your team.
-
A. Yes — I carry professional liability coverage of $2M per occurrence / $3M aggregate for on-site sessions. A Certificate of Insurance and W-9 are both available on request, along with formal invoicing for organizations that need it for purchase order processing.
-
A. Two to three weeks works well for most bookings. For retreats or larger groups, earlier is better.
